Jennetta Harris

Pastor J, as she is fondly known as, has been teaching and preaching the Word of God for over 40 years. Being called into the ministry at an early age, she was baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. It was at the Greater Bethel Apostolic Church in L.A. where the late Bishop Alsie Eads recognized the call of God on her young life. She began a work for the Lord as a young bible teacher, youth choir director, usher, and led the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World  (PAW) Young People’s Union in her teenage years. After being away from her call and away from God nearly 15 years, she rededicated her life back to the Lord in 1986. In 1992, she began an 11 year journey at Greater Bethel Apostolic Church in Riverside. It was here, in 1999, Jennetta received her ministerial license and served as a faithful servant throughout those years. Her experience, as the Usher Board President, Youth Ministry Leader, Choir member, Editorial Ministry Leader and as an adult and youth Sunday School teacher, helped to prepare her for the pastoral calling. God elevated her calling on July 22, 2001 when she was ordained by the elders of the Apostolic Original Holiness Church of God, Inc. in Menlo Park, Calif to preach and teach God’s word. Pastor Harris enjoys a tremendous love for evangelism work which extends to people of all cultures, backgrounds and ages. God has blessed her with a powerful anointing to exhort His Word, render encouragement, and hope to all, especially women. Praising God is her theme for outreach and she has traveled to many places, near and afar, lifting up the name of Jesus and spreading the Gospel. In 2003, God directed her and she went out and secured a place where she pastored J-JOY Christian Ministries, Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga,Calif at the city's Lion's Community Center nearly for 12 years. She recently retired from corporate America after working at a major utility company for nearly 41 years. Pastor J has authored her first book, "The ABCs of God's infallible Grace",  and can be found on the shelves of Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites.
